This is based off of Proverbs 14. Beth Moore in her bible study, "Believing God" recommends we pray from this chapter. I'm a big proponent in praying outloud and praying verses straight from scripture. I formulated a prayer straight from Proverbs 14. There are 33 prayer requests from the 35 verses.

Help me Lord to be a wise woman who builds her house up.

Help me to have a walk that is upright and fears the Lord.

Help me to have wise lips that they might protect me.

Help me to work hard like an ox that I might have an abundant harvest.

Help me to be a truthful witness giving an honest testimony.

Help me to be discerning that I might have knowledge.

Help me to stay away from foolish men for they have no knowledge.

Help me to be wise and prudent that I may give thought to my ways.

Help me to be upright that I may have goodwill and flourish.

Help me to have joy.

Help me to seek you in all your ways and not my own.

Help me to not wallow in this short life but focus on the eternal glory in Christ Jesus.

Help me to be a good man with a pure heart.

Help me to be modest and discreet that I may have good judgement.

Help me desire to please you and shun evil.

Help me to be slow to anger and meek, enduring pain with patience and no resentment.

Help me to be prudent that I may be crowned with knowledge and understanding.

Help me to love all of those around me regardless to how much money they have.

Help me to be kind and gracious to the needy.

Help me to plan only good that I may show love and faithfulness to others.

Help me to work hard even when no one is looking.

Help me to have a crown that is pleasing to you Lord.

Help me to be a truthful witness who builds up others and saves lives.

Help me to put the Lord first and foremost in my life for the sake of myself and my children.

Help me fear the Lord and have a strong confidence in him that I may have abundant growth.

Help me to encourage,serve,love,build up,be kind,be loyal,be faithful,and be gracious to others.

Help me to be patient with great understanding using words with restraint.

Help me to have a heart at peace that I may give life to my body.

Help me to do for those who can't do for themselves.

Help me to look for your deliverance &  receiving my allotted inheritance that one day I may rest in my labors, for my deeds will follow me.

Help me to desire wisdom and to thirst for knowledge and understanding.

Help me to seek righteousness and not settle for mediocrity.

Help me Lord to be a delight to you!

(Print this out and pray it as you drive around town.)
